An antique Victorian landscape painting framed in a silver-colored frame. Painted in oil on wood by the German painter Josef Henfling (1877-1950) in the late 19th century. It depicts a quaint European village with rustic yellow-toned buildings nestled in the alpine foothills. A stone tower is seen in the background, situated on a rise, with distant mountains under a soft sky. The artist's signature is placed on the left edge. A great painting from the second half of the 19th century.
