This david Hockney rare vintage 1994 first edition large format collector's Pop Art book is a very special and unique book to add to your library collection.
The vintage softcover Pop Art book is published by Rizzoli International Publications Inc. New York, printed in Italy in 1994. Authored by Kenneth E. Silver, professor of art history at New York University, sho charts Hockney's multifaceted career from his early work of the 1960's, poised between Abstractions and Pop Art's revival of figuration, to his later excursions into the world of computers and new print technologies of the early 1990's.
David Hockney ( B. 1937 ) is an English painter, draftsman, printmaker, stage designer, and photographer. He is an important contributor to the Pop Art movement of the 1950's. He is considered one of the most influential British artist of The 20th Century. His artworks have commanded greater popular acclaim than any other Contemporary British artist. The Pop Art Expressionist style artworks have been the subject of more than 400 solo exhibitions. Art works by Hockney are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.
The rare out of print collector's large format art book measures 10 1/8" W X 14" H X 1/8" D, with 24 pages. It is printed on high quality smooth finish paper stock. Featuring 15 full color offset lithograph illustrations. The large scale images are suitable for framing.
It is in very good vintage condition consistent with age, use, and light signs of handling. Please see photos for condition reference. It is now being offered here for an excellent price.

- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
