Zili is the Turkish word for the weaving technique of supplementary weft wrapping. This high quality, vintage Middle Eastern saddlebag was handmade by generational semi-Nomadic artisans, using fine horsehair and wool. Two large pockets, one on either end.

It's a fast way to add rustic character, charm, lots of texture, bright contrasting colors and unique artistically geometric design.

Makes for beautiful throw, exceptionally warm, or decorative wall hanging tapestry, or on the floor as a rug or runner, repurposed into a bag, as it's intended purpose, on the back of a majestic donkey, horse or camel.
