It's rare to find a painted opaline having been lovingly treated and washed by hand for 100 years. It's a delicate blown glass that's been hand painted in a deep turquoise and accented with tiny ribbons and flowers on the neck and base, touched with gold in relief around the base. Smooth gold accents surround the rim and top. It's in excellent condition with no chips or nicks with only the slightest wear around the rim. The delicate glass is translucent when held to the light. Lovely accent on a vanity, bedside table or for a rose in the salle de bain. Paris, circa 1900. See less
