Absolutely stunning vintage mid century modern solid walnut & slate hexagonal ice bucket, by the well regarded design firm of Harpswell House, of Brunswick Maine. This bucket is finely crafted and absolutely a wonderfully detailed and yet rugged piece of period barware! It is very much in the style of designs by Paul Evans and Phillip Lloyd Powell as well and would fit in well with a multitude of decor styles.
It measures 7 3/4" by 8 1/2" wide and is 8" tall. There is general wear from the decades of use, but all certainly period appropriate. No chips or cracks to the slate or chips to the walnut that I can see. The felt on the bottom is old and a bit dusty, leaving little specks of black felt behind, but not bad. Could be removed or a new piece of stick on felt adhered to it.
