Vintage; C.1950's, Mid-Century era, Giacometti-Style, hand-forged, Iron Italian Savonarola Letther Sling Arm Chair, with nuances, and a nod towards the … Read more Vintage; C.1950's, Mid-Century era, Giacometti-Style, hand-forged, Iron Italian Savonarola Letther Sling Arm Chair, with nuances, and a nod towards the Neoclassical-style, with a wee bit of Gothic vibe. The legs have an arched, curule or horseshoe-shaped legs, which have been forged from Iron, and crafted with a dimpled finish, as close up images indicates. ALSO with elevated round, dimpled finial ball tops, offsets this chair much like a throne chair, but super duper comfortable, especially the give and take of the sling arms, seat and seat back that make for a dramatic ambiance, with PRESENCE. The chair also has an old world, Spanish flair to it. The x-frames are fitted with black leather slings to seat and seat back rest, while also the arms having leather arm slings for actual armrests, which have black metal loops with a black, powder coated mainframe, and black, Saddle Leather Some minor wear or finish lossto frame, very small in nature, especially on finial ball arm rests area, given the use with era of manufacture, and time with which it has evolved within.
