The side panels are intricately carved with dragon-and-scroll motifs, while the front and back spandrels feature auspicious cloud designs—symbols of good fortune and harmony. Designed to be viewed from both sides, this table makes an impressive freestanding statement. It is constructed using traditional wooden peg and mortise-and-tenon joinery, ensuring strength and stability. Made from the core of elm wood, it showcases a rich, natural grain enhanced by its original patina and wear.
