Mohajeran is a village in the larger Sarouk district, reputed, especially in the pre-WWII period, to have woven the best quality Sarouks, often on blue grounds. Term has generally been extended to any vintage/antique Sarouk on blue. Well-woven to very fine. Expensive. Scatters to room sizes, few, if any, mansion – size carpets. Relatively small production.
