It is a marvelous … Read more Vintage Danish teak bookcase designed by Erik Petersen for EP Mobler in the 1960s in Denmark. It is a marvelous example of high-quality Danish mid-century carpentry combined with elegance and functionalism. Bookcase consists of three adjustable shelves and a cabinet with sliding doors, ensuring just enough space for storage, books, and decorations. The bookcase is finished in teak veneer with solid teak accents binding together perfectly. The matching veneer grain throughout the piece and its fine lines create a sculpture-like appearance, making it extremely elegant. A great example of Danish carpentry skills from mid mid-20th century. The legs are detachable for convenient storage or transport.

The bookcase has been renovated. We have cleaned the wood and protected it with layers of Danish oil. We leave minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm its originality. We try to bring it back to its best look, still considering it is 60 years old. Overall is in excellent original vintage condition with minor traces of use. The original manufacturer’s sticker on the back of the shelf confirms its authenticity.
