Antique 1920s Walter Bauer McCoy Stove Pipe Leaves & Berries Vase in Matte Rose w/Green
This is antique 1920's McCoy pottery vase in the Leaves & Berries stove pipe design. This is in a harder to find color, matte rose with green. Vase measures 8" high and 5" wide.
The bottom is unsigned as the older pieces were not, but between the well known leaves and berries pattern and the distinctive McCoy matte rose color, I have no hesitation in it’s authenticity. It is in the classic Stovepipe form and has leaves and berries embossed around the middle to base. This use of natural elements is consistent with Walter Bauer signature works.
Nice antique condition.condition, has a chip on the bottom, some effect inconsisitencies in the glaze as is usual on these pieces. Please view all photos.
