In the manner of late 18th-century French design, this elegant and finely proportioned desk exemplifies the neoclassical restraint and symmetry characteristic of the late 18th-century French aesthetic. Crafted in ebonized mahogany, the desk features a rectangular top framed by a molded edge above a frieze fitted with three drawers, adorned with bronze pulls. The desk rests on square tapered legs terminating in bronze sabots.
