Vintage; English silver plated, lidded entree serving dish by the Cross Silversmith Company. Serving dish is missing the handle, but we could not distinguish what style to restore it with, since the lines and faceted corners lend itself to a genteel, stylized, but clean linear with architectural, stylized corner surrounds.
Makers mark on underside states; Cross London, with their eagle logo, a number series #1495, and below that N.S. Also where the handle goes are initials M.S. inset.
In great condition for era and use, just needs better cleaning, perhaps professional polishing.
Height indicates without handle.
