A striking vintage coffee table made by Chapman Manufacturing Co. and produced in Spain circa 1970s. The square frame is crafted from turned hardwood in a faux bamboo design, with lathe-carved legs, X-form stretchers, and sculptural corner finials finished in burnished brass. The piece exemplifies Hollywood Regency elegance with a relaxed, worldly edge.
The removable tray top is finished in a warm, mottled gilt—reminiscent of aged brass—and features scalloped molding and notched corners that nod to Chinoiserie style detailing. With its rich patina and architectural presence, the table offers both decorative impact and timeless versatility.
