Magazine stand, made in France, mid-20th century.
An interesting magazine stand made of metal and glass. On each side of the stand, behind glass, there is a framed lithograph. One lithograph depicts “Voiture de la cour” – a court carriage, while the other shows “Diligence de ville” – a city carriage. The stand also features an intriguing mechanism that allows it to open or close by pulling the handle.
