This one comes from a private family in Monte Carlo. There were serious doubts about the artist behind this painting, so we prefer to confirm it as "Circolo de Murillo" from the 17th century. Bartolomé Esteban Pérez Murillo (Seville, January 1, 1618 - Cádiz, April 3, 1682) was a Spanish painter. Along with Diego Velázquez, Francisco de Zurbarán, and José de Ribera, he is one of the most representative figures of Spanish Baroque painting of the Golden Age. Although much of his activity focused on the creation of religious themes, he remains especially famous for his genre scenes depicting women and, especially, children of the working class. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
