A rare and beautifully preserved pair of Venetian-style nightstands, with just the right hint of classic French Provençal inspiration and outgoing, almost flirtatious, Creole legs. Crafted in the 1950s or 60s, these nightstands echo antique Venetian charm with their graceful lines and expressive details.

Built from solid pinewood, their surfaces are finished in a soft white paint, gently worn with age and care. Fine gold-painted detailing—possibly even real gold leaf—accents their elegant carvings and brings out their unique character. The patinated brass handles add a quiet sophistication and glide effortlessly. The top drawer includes a lock and working key, perfect for tucking away a diary, treasured letters, or small keepsakes.
