Doorstop Depicts 2 … Read more This Really is a Great Looking - Very Rare & Unusual Vintage Cast Iron Doorstop. Circa 1930s. Doorstop Depicts 2 Dogs ( Bloodhounds ? ) and a Horse Peeking Over a Rustic Wood Fence. I have been dealing in doorstops for many years. I have looked in all of my reference books and I could not find any examples of this model. It is Marked in the Casting on The Back - C N 66 9. In My Considered Opinion However it is Most Likely a Rare Model that was Made by Wilton Products in the Early 1930s. One Piece Solid Cast Construction & Quite Heavy Weighing Just Slightly Under 4 1/2 Pounds. It Still Retains its Painted Features that are in Very Good Condition with Nice Honestly Aged Patina - Displays Very Well. It has No Breaks or Damage to the Casting. It is Absolutely Guaranteed to be Original and Vintage as Stated.
