This piece features a rectangular seat with softened edges, supported by four sturdy, slightly tapered legs connected by stretchers on all sides. The hand-carved apron on each side is delicately shaped in a scalloped and stylized foliate motif.

Evidence of hand-hewn joinery, mortise and tenon construction, and pegged detailing remains visible throughout, reflecting traditional Chinese woodworking techniques. The wood surface has developed a warm, timeworn character with areas of wear, minor losses, and age-related patina consistent with its age and use.
