Drawing by Swiss born artist Paul Ami Bonifas (1893 - 1967). Bonifas worked mainly in Paris as a ceramicist until the outbreak of World War II, when he returned to Geneva, Switzerland for the duration of the war.
In 1946 Bonifas moved to Seattle where he was hired to create a ceramics department at the University of Washington.
Pencil signed and dated lower left. Includes original Davidson Galleries label.
