Small verdigris and gilt seated Buddha. Charming and beautifully made bronze Buddha with mandorla surrounding the seated figure. Serenely composed with alms bowl in lap and meditative expression. The face, chest arms, and feet are in a gilt finish. the remaining is covered in green verdigris. The back of the mandorla is finished in an image of a solar disk and radiating rays. The figure is seated on a beautifully carved lotus with multiple tips. The size is 5.75" tall and 4.75" wide, the base is 2" deep.
The condition is very good. Beautiful patina, missing an attached stand. ( note drills in underside for attaching some other plinth.)
