I am not sure is this is a refurbished piece or not – the estate planner did not know. I do know it gives me Michael Taylor vibes It has the characteristics of a Victorian style, but does not have the ball cap on the ends. This vintage faux bamboo étagère features three tiers of glass shelving supported by a spindled frame with a richly patterned burnt tortoise shell finish. Tall and sculptural with timeless Chinoiserie appeal, the form is elegant but incredibly solid—currently holding over 50 of my large hardback books without strain.
