The "Carimate" chair is one of Vico Magistretti's iconic designs. It was created for the Club House of Carimate Golf Club restaurant. The chair went through four different manufacturers before Magistretti requested a patent for its construction in 1963. Inspired by traditional countryside furniture made from simple materials like straw and wood, the "Carimate" chair features an architectural, open frame with a strong visual presence.
