Early 19th Century French Painted and Parcel Gilt Trumeau Mirror. Mirror features a gilt decorative narrative panel above the mirror plate showing a serene woman beside a young child and a lion, all set in an outdoor landscape. The frame is painted in a soft cream with floral carved giltwood moldings and has a wonderfully worn patina. The mirror glass below appears to be original or early period, showing light wear, adding to its authenticity and charm.
