Incredibly rare and stunning mid century modern daybed or sofa designed by Torben Strandgaard of Denmark. Made of a combination of different wood types with metal support. The arms are rosewood, the sides are teak and the rest is oak. Upholstered in a predominately blue southwestern style pattern fabric. Webbing for the seat is concealed between two layers of cambric. Stamp on the bottom of the sofa shows designer info and country of origin. This design has amazing minimalist Scandinavian lines.

- In excellent vintage condition overall. Wood shows very minor wear. Covers for seat and back cushions are also in good … moreIn excellent vintage condition overall. Wood shows very minor wear. Covers for seat and back cushions are also in good shape with minor display of age and use. Both covers are removable with zippers so new owner can make new cushion covers and re-use the foam if desired. Webbing is very intact and strong and has a lot of life left. Legs are also removable and attach to sofa via screws. One minor technical issue with the holes in 2 of the 4 legs being too loose for the screws but adding a some paper or fabric fixes the problem perfectly. Overall it's a very clean vintage piece that has been well taken care of over the years. less
