The mirror measures a full 50 inches tall at the tip of the finial, and it is 26 inches wide. This mirror is solid, sturdy, and heavy. It is constructed of mahogany. Unfortunately, there were dings, gouges, and flaws that prevented restoring the original finish of the mahogany. Consequently, we opted for an ebonized finish accented by the gold finial.
