Super Rare and this is why.....
The Inciso etching is vertical (up and down).
The 3 tier colors Clear, Green, and Blue are suttle and looks like this would be perfect in a beach house setting or if you need to brighten up the room.
This is not a round shape
Marked on the bottom "Venini Murano Italia" has a large circular pontil mark.
Stands 10" tall (one of the larger sizes he produced) Weight 1 lbs 15 oz
Made in the early 1950's I believe
No Chips or cracks or scratches

Inciso Etched Glass - This complex artistic technique is performed with a hard stone grinding wheel, which is used to engrave the cold surface of the almost finished product. The master glassmaker carefully and meticulously follows the pattern designed by the artist.
For a moment, the master glassmaker holds his breath – that is how concentrated he is. If he makes the slightest mistake, all his efforts will be in vain.

Paolo Venini (12 January 1895– 22 July 1959) emerged as one of the leading figures in the production of Murano glass and an important contributor to twentieth century Italian design. He is known for having founded the eponymous Venini & C. glassworks. See less
