A captivating and dynamic oil on canvas painting titled “Freedom” by listed Venezuelan artist Margarita Deleuze, created in 2007. This large-scale work (42” x 32”) depicts a powerful group of wild horses in full gallop, masterfully rendered in a modern impressionist style. Deleuze’s skillful brushwork and soft transitions of color evoke motion, energy, and the spirit of liberation. The horses emerge from a soft, earthy green background, their forms highlighted with warm and naturalistic tones ranging from rich chestnut and bay to pale cream and gray.
The composition is mounted in a custom wooden shadowbox frame. Signed by the artist both on the front and back, with a brass nameplate affixed to the frame. Titled, dated, and copyrighted on the reverse.
A striking and emotive piece ideal for collectors of modern equine art or Latin American contemporary painters. Ready to hang.
