This sign likely came out of a building in NYC. I’m guessing it was from 40 Wall Street, due to other pieces found in the same home came from that building. There is some damage to the fixture. The letter “A” is damaged on one side but this isn’t terribly noticeable. The light is two sided. It retains its original wiring so this would definitely need to be replaced as it is not in safe condition based on the severe wear to the cord. Takes a standard tube lighting. This is a super cool piece of authentic history, not a reproduction. I’ve done my best to clean it but it still has some dust. See less

I … moreThere have been no repairs made to this piece in order to preserve its integrity for what it is. I definitely recommend rewiring the light. And it may benefit from a few minor repairs, to the curved wooden piece on the end, and perhaps a deeper clean. I did dust it off to the best of my ability. less
