CHINESE CLOISONNE ENAMEL RECTANGULAR LIDDED BOX.

With Four Goddesses of Ancient China.
We offer this antique Chinese cloisonné lidded box very finely decorated with floral panels and Four Goddesses, Gand with a Shou emblem to the centre of the lid. We believe the box dates from the 19th or possibly very early 20th century. The rectangular shaped box stands raised on four small integral corner legs and each is panel is inlaid with very fine trailing and scroll work flowers on stems picked out in colours against a black ground. A central Shou emblem is set to the centre of the lid.
The box is decorated on each side with Goddesses and lotus blossoms borne on scrolling leafy tendrils.
