The vase is entirely … Read more Delightful, rare Roman amphora-shaped vase, made entirely by hand from copper, burnished, with a folded rim. The vase is entirely hand-hammered. On the bottom there is part of a stamp, which clearly reads "Trento - Italia" and a catalog number. We are definitely talking about an object dating back to before 1930, otherwise the base would say "Italy," which was replaced in 1940 by "Made in Italy." The patina covering the object is beautiful and allows us to date it confidently to around 1920. The vase is made in full Art Deco style.
