This item belongs to our "Soft Porcelain" series.
The Soft Porcelain series is an ode to textile traditions: monograms, brocade, and embroidery techniques, created by many anonymous women and passed down through generations.
Our work is a celebration of their artisanship and patient skills.
We focussed on embroidered monograms from textiles commemorating life events and carrying strong familial associations.
Many of the linens we use were originally part of wedding trousseaux, hand-embroidered by or for the bride. They carry not only technical skill, but personal meaning: emotional histories that we seek to preserve by the process of transformation into porcelain. Stamped by Maker
