The rock outcrop in the center of the background has been converted to a vacation destination for an affluent owner, now enjoyed by the residents of the adjoining settlements. Here the artist has captured the brilliant blue sky reflected in the water creating a splendid pastoral effect, inviting the viewer onto the terrace to enjoy the flowers, the view, and a beautiful day! Survives in its original frame.
