In Chinese culture, the rat is viewed as a symbol of wisdom, wealth, prosperity, and abundance. It also represents new beginnings as it is the first animal in the Chinese zodiac cycle. Wonderful light green color. Nicely carved with sophisticated lines capturing the essence of the animal. Large size - measures 7 3/4" x 4 1/2" x 3 1/2" tall.
