Elegant, handmade ceramics from Apulia, Italy.
The minimalist, simple design impresses with its chromatic color combination of the traditional glaze. This ceramic also makes a decorative vase. Originally used as a storage or preservation container for food, it is characterized by imperfections and signs of wear.
This glazing technique, traditionally known as marble glaze, is particularly popular in Grottaglie, a small municipality in the province of Apulia, Italy. Traditionally, it was used primarily for cylindrical storage containers, soup bowls, jugs, and decanters.
