~Large size and three open shelves make this piece excellent for a dining room, den, kitchen, and yes, some clients use them for home office organization…imagine the possibilities!
~Features include an ornately carved upper crown features a scalloped high back with a center carving of pheasants, depicting the ‘bounty of the hunt’.
~Two drawers have carved gadrooning with brass drawer pulls, flanked by three-dimensional carved lion masks
~French barley twist columns on all four sides, with carved block joints
~Details abound, note the small scalloped trim across the lower front edge of the middle shelf!~
~Wide carved and beveled molding on the lower shelf front and sides
~Quality throughout, solid, heavy and strong, well built by craftsmen of the period
