Designed … Read more Beautiful 1930s early Jentique solid oak, Art Deco style, five drawer writing desk in excellent condition for the age. Designed by Geoffrey Jenkins, interesting toymaker and inventor prior to making furniture, this early design from prior to takeover of company in 1936 and long before MCM designs of the 1950s - 60s Jentique came to be known for.
Hardware and drawer slides in excellent condition, minor surface wear consistent with age and use, manufacturers tag and stamp are present. Fine piece of English furniture history.
Lovely patina as is, also makes an ideal upcycle project.
