A rare and important Swedish Art Deco ceramic vase by Erik Mornils for Nittsjö Keramik, exhibited at the seminal Stockholm Exhibition of 1930. This masterfully crafted piece features a bold, globular form with twin handles and a vibrant green glaze mottled with deep black, showcasing Mornils’ experimental approach to surface texture and color. The vase reflects the modernist ideals promoted at the 1930 Stockholm Exhibition, a pivotal moment in Scandinavian design history. A superb collector's item from one of Sweden’s leading ceramicists of the era. Base marked with Nittsjö stamp. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
