This piece is characterized by its stately architectural cornice, original hand-painted patina in soft grey-green tones, and elegant neoclassical lines typical of the Gustavian style. The upper cabinet features two glazed doors with interior shelving, ideal for displaying ceramics or books. The lower section opens to reveal a slanted writing surface and a beautifully detailed interior with multiple small drawers and compartments, designed for storing correspondence and valuables. Beneath the writing desk are four spacious drawers with original brass ring pulls, all functioning smoothly.
