Coral plaster intaglio, portrait replica of Grand Tour, made in the atelier of Parisian artist Marin Montagut. Hand-wrapped in paper, rimmed in gold plaster cording, mounted on Hunt Slonem textile in antique gold tone metal frame with self-easel. Would pair well with similar blue intaglio in the shop. Intaglio has folded hook affixed to back and can be hung independently. Intaglio alone is 1.75” x 1.5” x .25”.
A rare piece unavailable in the US.
