The top has hand carved stacked beveled edges on the longer sides and pie crust edges on the shorter sides. The top is affixed to the base with rose head nails. The top follows down to hand carved aprons, all with geometric patterns. The base has pegged construction. The legs are splayed and hand turned, all joined by simple stretchers. This is a lovely early stool with wonderful carving and well earned patina. See less
