Dimensions: H: 70 × W: 57 cm Good condition Alexis Simon Belle was born in Paris. He was the second son and only boy of Jean-Baptiste Belle (born before 1642 and died in 1703), also a painter. His mother, Anne des Champs, died in 1705. The birth and baptism of Alexis Simon Belle were registered in the parish of Saint-Sulpice in Paris and are recorded in Eugène Piot's Le Cabinet de l'amateur for the years 1861 and 1862. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
