The square mahogany framed … Read more Rare pair of mid-century modern black lacquered nightstands designed by Paul Frankl for John Stuart, Inc. The square mahogany framed cabinets are fronted by a large pull down drawer above two storage drawers all with round brass ring pulls. The cabinets are sturdy and solid having excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The rare ebonized finish has a dramatic presentation. The front of the cabinets have a distinctive border trim. Sold as a pair. Very good well-preserved condition with age appropriate wear.
