A vintage Steuben Glass crystal snail bottom bowl, #8060, designed by Donald Pollard between 1954 and 1955. This bowl is a stunning piece with pieces of triangular glass spiraling around the base of the body intensifying the effect of light as it is captured and reflected. Steuben is etched on the base - see picture #2 when it is enlarged. This bowl cost me $725 about 50 years ago, and it is listed now at $700 on Crystal Classics.com
