This is a beautiful carved dark oak bookcase imported from England. It has a couple of small drawers at the top, two cabinet doors at the bottom, a couple of open spaces on each side and sliding glass doors in the center which enclose three shelves.
The piece was put out by Wood Bros in England and is part of their Old Charm line. The company started in 1924 and is still going strong today. Old Charm is one of their more popular collections.
This piece is in good condition but does have some peeling veneer on the top along the very back. It is 59.25" wide, 32.75" tall and a narrow 10.5" deep.
