The organic, softly folded form is sculpted in rich ruby pink glass layered over a cloudy white base — an effect achieved through lattimo (milk glass) and sommerso methods, both associated with Murano masters.

The interior is richly flecked with foglia d’oro (gold leaf) and foglia d’argento (silver leaf), creating a shimmering, metallic depth that shifts with light. Subtle bullicante-style bubbles appear throughout, and the base is smoothly polished with no maker’s mark — a trait typical of many Murano bowls and ashtrays from the 1950s–70s.

You may notice swirling surface impressions inside the bowl — possibly made during the shaping process. These do not affect the function or beauty of the piece. Perfect as a catchall, ashtray, display piece, or a richly textured accent for any space.
