Also notice verso on the canvas stretcher someone hand lettered the word “NOT FOR SALE” I presume written by the artist herself for an opening art show. It must have been a favorite of her’s. It certainly is my favorite and I’ve looked at all the records of her art sold, hands down my favorite. I imagine this could be were Dana stayed in Venice? Is is a hotel or someone’s private estate? I adore the stairway lined with flowers leading to a grand ballroom with its large window facade. Painting is in absolutely perfect condition. See less
