The discs are individually handblown elements. The marbleized design is a combination of cristallo glass spotted with white pigmented paste glass. The spots are created by rolling the molten glass in a cluster of white glass pieces before hand-blowing each piece. As each glass form is shaped, the white glass stretches and softens in appearance. This chandelier style is modeled after pieces by Italian designer Gino Vistosi for Venini.

This fixture comes with a canopy to install smoothly and evenly with the ceiling making it perfect for short ceilings at 26 of height. However, it has three feet of wire at the top if you need to lengthen the fixture more than 26 inches of height desired, but this would require a canopy and chain.
