Possibly Long … Read more Offered is an vivid large harbor scene painted in precisionist style reminiscent of Charles Sheeler and Rawston Crawford. Possibly Long Island, Rockport or another northeastern shore town. Viewed from the inside a beach house, we see two houses and trees rendered with simple geometric shapes. There is a utility pole and lines. Rays from an unseen light house at the end of the spit pierce the sky and a boat is seen in the distance. This would be the perfect decor for a beach house or residence near the shore.. Or for anyone who has fond memories of summers at a beach house.

Presented in the original period signed Frederic thin wood frame, the painting is in very good with vivid colors and no punctures, crazing or paint loss. See less
