Design
The design is defined by a checkered inlay on the tabletop, composed of alternating light and medium wood tones (maple), due to the changing of direction. Corners are softly rounded and continue seamlessly into the legs, which are built from stacked wooden elements that echo the inlay pattern.

This construction creates a sense of flow from top to base. The legs are also subtly tapered inward, lending a balanced visual weight.
