The original art was studied from life- the vase of flowers looked beautiful and I wanted to capture the rose in its fleeting state, the last moments before the flower falls from the stem. DETAILS: "Oil paint on canvas, mounted on a wood panel "Dimensions: 3.75"H x 5.25"W x. 75"D "Unframed, wired for hanging 'signed + titled on the back 'ships within 3 business days about my work: I'm a full time artist with a BFA from Laguna College of Art & Design, where I majored in drawing and painting, working primarily from life and the nude figure. My work is inspired by nature, my everyday surroundings, and a collection of old photographs. I show in galleries and exhibitions in addition to selling directly from my studio.
